They make sure he takes his medicines appropriately and at the right time. The Angels help bathe him and always have him dressed and ready to go to appointments when we pick him up. I wanted to thank Assisting Angels for their service. When I was told that I needed open-heart surgery and special after-care, I did not want to go to another facility for rehab, and I wanted to return to my room at Chateau Ridgeland. Assisting Angels were remarkable! They provided all the physical care with expertise, ease and knowledge. They were also loving, interesting, and above all, understanding! If I needed anything, these ladies were close-by, ready and willing to meet my needs. I soon referred to them as "my Angels." I still do! They really are Angels!

The Assisting Angels have been rendering care for my father since October 2013. They have aided him in dressing, bathing and in administration of his medicines. The Angels have also ensured that he got to the dining room and the scheduled activities at Chateau Ridgeland. The Angels have also taken the time to get to know my father on a personal level. All of these assistance activities have become increasingly important as my father's physical and mental abilities have continued to decrease.

When I placed my mother in assisted living I needed a dependable service to take care of her. I chose Assisting Angels. And, they've been the best thing for my mother! At first, she only need minimal assistance but as time went on her needs increased so we added to Assisting Angels' services. Ideally I'd have wanted to take care of my mother myself but life doesn't always allow for that. With Assisting Angels' help, I believe my mother was taken care of in the best possible way. I'd recommend Assisting Angels to anyone who has a loved one that needs more care than they can give them.

Assisting Angels provides assistance to my elderly aunt. I have found the management staff to be professional and flexible. The caregivers, both personal and nursing, have proven to be so helpful and efficient. My aunt enjoys their company as well as the help they provide her. We can both count on them to do their job, on time and with a smile. They are kind and caring; I do not know how I could do without them. They are indeed "angels."

Assisting Angels not only care for you but they also care about you. They make sure you have your medicine, and you don't have to to go the drug store to get it. They also take care of your laundry, not just your towels but your clothes as well. They also help you with your showers. Wade and Linda Logan treat you like family and visit often. They are only a phone call away. My family appreciates their concern about my needs, and they tell their friends about the service Assisting Angels provide.

Assisting Angels operated in a professional manner with out right concern for the resident's welfare. I have seen them assist residents in need that were not their clients and for which they didn't even receive compensation. The services that they provided allowed our residents to live independently longer and allowed them to get the support and care that they would have received in an Assistant Living Community. They provided services from med management all the way thru being bed-ridden and being placed in hospice. I was very pleased with the care Assisting Angels provided to the residents.

We have had the pleasure of working with and getting to know the Logans in our roles as General Managers with Chateau Ridgeland. After working with several care-providing companies over our 5 years with Holiday Retirement, it became abundantly clear that what Assisting Angels offers that separates them from so many is the heart behind everything they do. Often in health care and business in general, the rule is not to get emotionally attached to customers or patients. This is not a rule that Assisting Angels puts in their model, and in fact, many times they go above and beyond for their clients because of the family-like relationship they seem to have with the clients, as well as their family. Having an elderly father myself, I, like so many, hope and pray that we will never need to hire care providers for him. But if we do, I know that we will demand the respect and care he deserves; that anyone deserves. I would not hesitate to go straight to Assisting Angels for that care if we still lived in Mississippi. It is refreshing to see this teamwork so hard together. Wade and Linda love their staff, and it shows. The staff is happy to come to work and that shows in their smiles and the job they do. The love and commitment to their jobs starts from the top, and runs all the way down. The concern and devotion they have for their clients is sincere, and it would be the most important thing to me as a son looking for care providers.
